The effect of alpha alumina nano on improving the quality of concrete
Alpha alumina nano
Alpha alumina nano is one of the most commonly used materials in ceramic and building materials including concrete. Alumina is the most widely used oxide ceramic in various industries. This product is very advanced in nano grade and is very difficult to produce. Alpha alumina is the stable phase of alumina. It is formed at 1400 ° C. However, this material will grow at an extreme temperature of 1000 ° C. Therefore, it is very difficult to produce this material with a grain size less than 100 nm. It has a very high melting temperature of about 2054 degrees Celsius. It is chemically very stable. This property makes it suitable for use in applications where high temperature tolerance is required. It is also used as a catalyst for biological planting.
The effect of alpha alumina nano on improving the quality of concrete
In recent years, the use of different types of nanoparticles in the field of concrete has made progress. There are also new opportunities to improve concrete strength and durability. On the other hand, changes in mixing design specifications affect the properties of concrete samples. For this reason, the application of nanoparticles in concrete has not been developed. Studies in this area show the improvement of concrete properties. Therefore, the impact and application of alpha alumina nano on improving the quality of concrete is investigated. Nanocrystal line concrete samples have also been used to examine more precisely the experiments with alpha alumina nano. For this purpose, concrete samples were made with different mixing designs and different tests were performed on each sample. Observations show that the addition of alpha alumina nano enables lightweight concrete and increases compressive strength compared to alumina nano samples. Silica nanoparticles also increase the strength of concrete. Adding silica nanoparticles to the concrete also provides the ultimate in compressive and tensile strength.
